Wayne has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2), all of it land. The town is bisected by State Highway 59/State Highway 77A, which runs north-south through the center of the community. Wayne is surrounded by several small towns, including Purcell to the north, Pauls Valley to the south, and Wynnewood to the east. The population of Wayne as of the 2020 census was 602.
